*Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature created and hosted by The Broke and the Bookish*
I’ve been in Scotland for the past week and I’m finally back and have internet! I was worried I wouldn’t get this weeks Top Ten up because of all the travelling but thankfully I’ve been able to.
This weeks theme is ten series that I’ve been meaning to start but haven’t. I’m pretty sure I could make an extremely long list with the amount of series that I haven’t started yet because there’s so many I want to read. There’s loads of good books out there that it’s impossible to read them all and then new ones are published and they get added to my list – it’s an endless cycle!
Here are the ten series that I still haven’t read…
I’ve read the first book in this series but never got around to picking the other books up. I’ve gone through stages of wanting to read it and not wanting to because of the amount of spoilers I’ve seen.
An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir
This is one that I’ve got no excuses for not reading. I just haven’t and I don’t know why.
These Broken Stars by Amy Kaufman
I went through a big sci-fi stage a few years ago so I’ve had this book for quite a while. During my sci-fi binge I never got around to this book but one day I will.
This is another one that I’ve had for ages which I was so excited to read. I’ve not heard good things about the final book in the series, so I’m not really sure if I want to read it anymore.
Mistborn Trilogy by Brandon Sanderson
I got this trilogy a few Christmases ago because I was really into fantasy at the time. I still love reading fantasy but it takes me a lot longer to read them so I’ve been waiting for the perfect time to start this series.
I have two of the books in this trilogy and I don’t really know that much about them. I know that it focuses upon witches but I don’t really know why I haven’t read it yet.
This series is so hyped up by everyone that I’m scared to read it in case I don’t like it!
Magic Study by Maria V. Snyder
I read the first book in the series a few years ago and really enjoyed it. For some reason, I never carried on with the series even though I wanted to. I will at some point though.
The Winner’s Curse by Marie Rutkoski
This is another series that I found was really over-hyped. Again, I read the first in the series and although I enjoyed it, it wasn’t as good as everyone had said. I do own all the books in the series so I’ll eventually get around to finishing it!
I mention this duology so much necause it’s one that I really want to read. At first I wasn’t sure if it was something I’d be interested in, but the reviews were saying amazing things about the first book that it really made me want to read it.
Those are all of the series that I haven’t read even though I want to! What are some of the series or books that you haven’t had a chance to read yet?
Some great books! I have the Mistborn series on my list as well! I forgot about The Winner’s Curse! I really want to read that series as well.

I’ve only read Half Bad and Six of Crows from your list but both series are five star!! I really need to read Shatter Me, I keep seeing it everywhere and everyone loves it. I also haven’t read Red Rising or Mistborn and really need to… 🙂

I was worried to start Red Rising too because it didn’t sound like my thing, but I love it! I just finished it and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it!

I’m with you on Mistborn and Half bad! I do hope you read Shatter me further, though. I absolutely love the third book.
