November marked my third Illumicrate box of the year, and out of the three I purchased this year, it was by far my favourite one. Ever since I became a subscriber in May, I have never been let down by the contents of the boxes and the items are always perfect. I’m already counting down the days until the February box!
Here’s what was in the November Illumicrate!
Bookish Tea Towel by evannaveillustration
This tea towel was designed exclusively for Illumicrate, and it’s super cute! I probably won’t be using this in the kitchen, only because I don’t want it to get ruined.
“The Right Book” Print by Nutmeg and Arlo
I love receiving quotes and prints in book boxes, and this is my favourite one that I have ever gotten. It’s a quote by J.K Rowling and it’s so pretty! I’m keeping this in a safe place at the moment, until I can find a photo frame for it.
2018 Unicorn Journal by Prism of Starlings
I really wasn’t expecting to find a journal in this box, but I was so happy when I saw it. My goal for 2018 is to become a lot more organised, and now I have this diary to help me on that quest.
Reading in Bed Candle by MerakiCandles
Candles are one of my favourite items to receive in book boxes because I’m always introduced to loads of new scents. I actually thought that this was a honey scented candle, but it’s actually a hot chocolate candle – it smells so good!
Moon and Stars Necklace by OhPandaEyes
Another one of my favourite items in the November box was this necklace, I don’t think I’ve taken it off since I got my box last week. It goes perfectly with the featured book as well.
The City of Brass ARC by S. A. Chakraborty
This book sounds so intense! From what I can tell from the synopsis it’s a mixture of various genres, but I’m so excited about it being set in Egypt in the 1800s. I’ve never read a book that’s set in Egypt so I’m really excited about this book.
Artemis by Andy Weir
I had a feeling that this was going to be the featured book, after seeing the hints on the Illumicrate Instagram page. It’s an exclusive edition with black sprayed edges and it’s so pretty! I really can’t wait to read it because I’ve heard so many great things about Andy Weir’s writing!
