The Great British Bake Off Tag

I have a lot of tags to catch up on which is great because I love doing tags, but I really need to keep up to date with them all. I was tagged by Rebecca at mylifeasasportsfangirl a couple of months ago, thanks for tagging me! Definitely check out her blog because it’s awesome, and one of my favourites!

I’ve seen a couple of episodes of The Great British Bake Off and really enjoyed them, so I’m really excited about this tag. I wish that I was able to bake like all of the people on the show.

Tag people or don’t. Just have fun.

Ready, get set, Bake! (or tag)

Amateur Baker: A book that is self-published

Switched by Amanda Hocking

I don’t mention the Trylle series that much, but I really enjoyed it and it’s so different to anything that I’ve read before – it’s the only series about trolls that I’ve ever read!

Soggy Bottom: A book that had a great start but a disappointing end

With Malice by Eileen Cook

I was actually discussing this book with my friend a couple of days ago, and we both had exactly the same thoughts on it. The majority of the book was great, and I really enjoyed it, but the ending let it down massively. It was rushed and disappointing.

#Bingate: A book that you grew frustrated with and had to DNF

Because You Love to Hate Me by Various Authors

hate leaving a book unfinished, and most of the time I always push through because I feel like I have to finish it. But I just couldn’t do that with this book. I disliked the majority of the short stories that I read, and it really reminded me why I don’t like reading anthology books.

Junior Bakeoff: A children’s book

Hans Christian Anderson Fairy Tales

I’ve not read many of these fairy tales yet, I’m aiming to finish them all by summer. This edition is so beautiful in person, and it’s one of the reasons why I bought it.

A Hollywood Handshake: A book that impressed you

A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab

I wasn’t expecting to love this book as much as I did because of all the hype that was surrounding it. It really exceeded my expectations!

Signature Challenge: A book that you would recommend to your friends and family

Passenger by Alexandra Bracken

I feel like this book has something for everyone, so it’s definitely one that I’d recommend to my friends and family – basically anyone!

Technical Challenge: Books that you read without knowing much beforehand, ranking them from worst to best

Showstopper Challenge: A book/series that is your all-time favourite

The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare

I don’t think anything can ever top the love that I have for this series.

The Finalists: Favourite trilogy

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han

I don’t think I could have picked anything else! I love so many things about this series, but what makes it all for me is the family dynamic. I recommend this series to everyone!

An Extra Slice: A favourite companion book

I avoid companion books because I’m never really that interested in them, so I don’t have an answer for this one!

  1. This is such a nice tag! And I totally agree with ADSOM and TID. Those books are so good! And Lare Jean and Peter K. gave me a bucketload of feels 😭
