Top 5 Tuesday: Cosy Fall Reads

Happy Tuesday!

I’m so bad at reading “themed” books during the seasons, I usually just pick up whatever I’m in the mood for. So this list was pretty difficult to come up with because I don’t tend to pick up Autumnal books, instead I just get cosy with my books! I have picked some books which I think would be perfect to read at this time of the year, even if I didn’t originally read them during Autumn.

Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling

This probably isn’t a surprise choice because what can be cosier than Hogwarts???

Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco

This probably isn’t cosy in terms of the subject matter along with all the gory bits, but the atmosphere of the book makes it feel so cosy. There’s just something about the Victoria era that whenever I’m reading books set in that period, I want to snuggle up in my bed and never leave.

The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer

As it’s getting darker in the evenings, I feel like fairy tale retellings are one of the best things to read at this time of year. The Lunar Chronicles are the perfect books for the Autumn months because they’re based on well known fairy tales, but have such an amazing twist that you don’t ever want to stop reading!

Roomies by Christina Lauren

I recently finished this one and I wished I had waited a little longer to read it because it felt like such a great Autumn/Winter read to me. I’m also a sucker for a fake dating trope and I loved this one so much. The whole book was so cute and heartwarming – perfect for when you want to feel cosy on the inside!

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han

This book just gave me all the feels – plus it’s pretty much perfect for any time of the year!
