Have I mentioned enough times in the past how terrible I am at keeping up with tags? I’m going to say it again, because I am rubbish at staying on top of them.
I was very kindly tagged twice for this award, first by Sissi @TheBookWorld back in August, I think (see what I mean about me being behind on my tags haha) and a few weeks ago by Kat @NovelsandWaffles. I thought I’d combine both of these and answer both sets of questions!
Thank you both so much for tagging me!!! And go and check out their blogs, they’re both incredibly lovely and have amazing blogs!
Rules for the award:
- Thank the blogger who nominated you in a blog post and link back to their blog.
- Answer the 11 questions the blogger asked you.
- Nominate (at least) 11 new blogs to receive the award and write them 11 new questions.
- List the rules
What is your favorite blog post you’ve ever written?
This is a difficult one because there’s soooo many. I really enjoy doing my seasonal anticipated book releases because I love looking ahead and seeing what amazing books are coming out soon. I’ll have my Winter one going up soon and I’m so excited for that one!
I also really love doing discussion posts. I’ve not done many of them, I think I’ve done around 4 or 5? But they’re so much fun. I always enjoy reading other people’s thoughts in the comments because everyone has different thoughts/opinions and it’s just so interesting!
If you could bring any fictional object (weapon, clothing, food etc.) into the real world, what would it be?
Scarlett’s dress from Legendary! I would never have to buy clothes ever again because the dress changes colour. It just sounds so perfect!
Who is your favourite book character?
Again, this is a difficult one to narrow down. There’s way too many characters to choose from and I’d be lying if I said I had just one favourite!
What is your favourite book genre?
What are some of your hobbies?
Other than reading, not much. I’m hobbieless haha.
What is your favourite movie?
This changes all the time depending on what mood I’m in. The only one that I can think of right now is 13 Going on 30, which is an amazinggggg movie.
What do you think is the most important part of a book in order for you to love it?
The middle part which probably sounds really weird. You can have an amazing beginning to a novel, or an amazing end, but if you don’t get an amazing middle part, then nothing can make up for that. I can usually tell when I’m halfway through a book what rating I’m going to give it, and I just think it’s a really underrated part of the book. Everyone talks about beginnings and ends and how they need to be ‘perfect’ but the middle needs some love too!
Who is your role model?
Lily Collins! She’s so inspiring and seems so down to earth.
What is your favourite holiday?
I love Bonfire Night in the UK sooooo much. I love being all wrapped up and going out in the cold to watch the bonfire being lit. I didn’t get to do anything for bonfire night this year which made me so sad, but I’m hoping that next year I’ll be able to do something!
Do you always read the book first before watching a book to movie adaptation?
No matter which way around people do it, they’ll always judge the other version based on the one that they did first… if that makes sense. But I’m definitely a book first kind of person – I prefer reading the words first before seeing it all on screen.
What is your favourite season?
Autumn/Winter. Basically when Autumn starts turning into winter!
Okay, most important question first: WAFFLES OR PANCAKES?
I love them both so much…. but I’m going to go with waffles because Sprinkles does the best waffles I’ve ever had.
Who is your favorite Disney Princess?
Who is your favorite Disney Villain?
What is your favorite Disney movie? (Okay last question about Disney, I swear!)
I can’t decide between The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan, and Pocahontas!
What is your Hogwarts house?
What is your patronus?
According to Pottermore, it’s a tortoiseshell cat.
What is the punniest joke you can think of?
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Hands down it would be teleportation. One of the things I hate the most about University is the commute. I’d love to just be able to be there in the space of a few seconds rather than an hour later. Plus that would come in so handy with travelling the world – there’d be no more long journeys!
Who is your book doppelganger (a character in a book who is most like you)?
Lara Jean Covey!
How do you feel about audiobooks?
I love the idea of them. I’ve given audiobooks a chance a few times but I personally don’t like a book being read to me, I just find that I can’t concentrate so they’re not for me. But I love that they give other people the opportunity to read in a new way that suits them!
Here’s one for the philosophy books: Is a hotdog a sandwich?
I want to say yes, but then I want to say no.. IT’S SO CONFUSING!
Once again thank you both so much for tagging me! I had so much fun answering these questions.
As I’m so far behind with my tags at the moment, I’m not going to tag anyone for this one because I’ll have quite a few more tags going up in the next few weeks!
