Beat the Backlist Readathon TBR

One of my goals this year is to participate in a lot more reading challenges. I found the Beat the Backlist Readathon, which was created by NovelKnight. It seems like a really great readathon which will hopefully encourage me to catch up on some books that I’ve been saying I’ll get to for years now (woops!).

If you’re interested in learning more about the reading challenge, click here for all the info!

The rules for this challenge are pretty simple:

The book must have been published in 2018, or earlier, and must be read during 2019 to count. These books can be any format, don’t have to be owned, and re-reads count as well!

I want to set myself a goal of reading at least two books that fit the criteria a month. As I’ve already missed January, I have 22 books on my list that I really hope I can knock off my TBR this year!

  1. A number of these are on my own backlog. In particular, I have fallen unbelievably behind on my fantasy series and am trying to use 2019 to play catch-up. Of course, some of these series (*cough* Cassandra Clare *cough*) are suuuuuuper long and may take me a while.

    1. It’s so easy to fall behind when there’s so many great books being released 😩 I hope that you’re able to catch up with all of the books that you want to read, especially Cassandra Clare’s!

  2. Our lists are super similar! I’m working through Crooked Kingdom right now and want to get through An Ember in the Ashes, Blood for Blood (Wolf by Wolf sequel), Jane Eyre, Dorothy Must Die, and Three Dark Crowns! Good luck to us both 😅😂😂

    1. They are really similar! Hopefully we’re both able to do well with our goals 🤞

I really want to read Crooked Kingdom soon – the hype around King of Scars is unbearable at the moment haha!

  3. I’m also participating! I have printed off the bingo’s too! 🙂 Last month I only read backlist books so I think I’m off to a good start. I hope you hit your goal! 🙂
