Top 5 Tuesday: Romantic Reads

Happy Tuesday!

I haven’t read many adult romances, I’ve read a few Colleen Hoover books and enjoyed them, but I’ve mainly stuck with the cute YA contemporaries. Writing this list made me realise that I haven’t read a contemporary book in ages. I will be changing that ASAP and hopefully I’ll get some new recommendations after checking out everyone else’s lists!

Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Shanah at Bionic Book Worm and each week there’s a different bookish topic to discuss. If you’re interested in participating, or checking out Shanah’s blog, click here!

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han

Possibly my favourite romance book ever! There’s just so much to love about this book.

The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson

I like pretty much all of Morgan Matson’s books but I think this one has by far the best relationship.

The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare

There’s just something about this series that’s really romantic; from Victorian London to the ships – Tessa, Wessa, Chenry… SO MUCH ROMANCE EVERYWHERE.

Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

I know that this book is problematic but I had to include it on this list. You can’t get more romantic than Paris!

Love & Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch

Another very cute read and this one takes place in Italy. Summer romances that take place abroad are the best and I want more of them!

What are some of your favourite romance books?

  1. I loved The Unexpected Everything (it was my first Morgan Matson) and The Clockwork Angel! (one of the rare love triangles that I liked!)
