Top 5 Tuesday: Sequels I Can’t Wait to Read

Happy Tuesday!

I’m the worst when it comes to reading series because I always forget to pick up the next one. I just get so distracted by all the other books that I want to read. However, there are loads of series that I’ve started recently and desperately want to continue with. Here’s what they are!

Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Shanah at Bionic Book Worm and each week there’s a different bookish topic to discuss. If you’re interested in participating, or checking out Shanah’s blog, click here!

The Queen of Nothing by Holly Black

Queen of Nothing

This is one of the only series that I’ve desperately wanted to continue reading. I read The Wicked King straight after finishing The Cruel Prince and I was lost for words. So much happened and I have so many questions that I just wanted the book straight away. The good news is that the release date has been brought forward to November instead of January so I am very, very, very excited.

Finale by Stephanie Garber

The Caraval series has been such great fun to read. There’s been so many twists that I haven’t seen coming and I’m really looking forward to seeing how it will all be wrapped up in Finale. There’s only a few weeks left to wait now and I know that I’ll be reading it as soon as I get my hands on it.

Bright We Burn by Kiersten White

Bright We Burn

This came out a few months ago and I had the intention of reading it straight away. But I got too scared to read it and I’ve ignored it for months. I’ve loved this series so much and I’m afraid that it’ll be a disappointing end to it all. The reviews I’ve seen have given it so much praise but I’m still nervous! I know that I’ll get around to it eventually, I just need to get over my fear first.

A Heart So Fierce and Broken by Brigid Kemmerer

A Curse So Dark and Lonely

A lot happened in A Curse so Dark and Lonely that I instantly wanted to pick up the next book. As far as I’m aware the title has already been announced but no cover has been revealed yet. It looks like it’s going to be released at the end of January next year so I’m in for a long wait but hopefully it will be worth it.

Tunnel of Bones by Victoria Schwab

tunnel of bones

I never thought I’d be excited about a ghost story. I used to hate them so much but Schwab’s first book in the series, City of Ghosts, made me change my mind. It was fast paced and so engaging, as well as a little creepy, and it just made me realise that ghost stories were so different to what I imagined they were. Tunnel of Bones is set in Paris which is one place I’ve always wanted to visit. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

What are some sequels you’re excited about?
