Top 5 Tuesday: Books That Begin With P-Q-R-S-T

Happy Tuesday!

Continuing on with the alphabet theme, this week’s Top 5 picks up from P all the way to T.

Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Shannah at Bionic Bookworm and each week there’s a fun bookish topic to discuss. If you’re interested in participating, or checking out Shanah’s blog, click here!

P – Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief

My love for this series will never end! Riordan’s writing style is one of my all time favourites purely because of his sense of humour and the way that he uses makes these books so entertaining. Plus I’ve learnt so much about Greek mythology from his books!

Q – Queen of Air and Darkness

This book is on my shelf but I haven’t read it yet which is crazy to me. I used to read Clare’s books as soon as they came out but I was super busy when this was released, and haven’t really found the time since then.

R – Royals

This book now goes by ‘Prince Charming’ and had a great cover change (this one’s very pink and blingy) Anyway, it was the only book that I could think of that began with an ‘R’ that I actually enjoyed. It’s the perfect cute contemporary that will give you all the feels at this time of year.

S – Scythe

No words will ever be good enough to describe how incredible this book is. It’s one that I’ve talked about quite a bit in the past, but not that much recently. However, it’s set in a future that I can definitely see happening, where death and illness no longer exist. But to keep order and the population under control, scythes have the power to take away life whenever they want. It’s so intense!

T – The Exact Opposite of Okay

The Exact Opposite of Okay

I had to take the opportunity to rave about this book again because it’s one that I think everyone needs to read. It’s funny, relevant, important, relatable – the list could go on. It’s one that became an instant favourite as soon as I finished it and one that I’ll probably recommend forever. You won’t ever get me to shut up about it haha!

What books made your list?
