February FairyLoot Unboxing: Beast & Beauty

Growing up, I never understood the hype with Beauty and the Beast and it was one of the only Disney films that I hadn’t watched. I think I ended up seeing it a few years ago, and whilst I did enjoy it, I didn’t seem to fall in love with it as much as other people (The Little Mermaid and Pocahontas were my favourites!) But that didn’t stop me from being excited about the February theme for FairyLoot!

This box was a little different to their normal monthly boxes as every item inside was based around Beauty and the Beast. There was an incredible selection of goodies this month and it may be one of my favourite boxes ever.

Here’s everything that was inside…

Wall Tapestry by Sweet Sequels

This is only half of the tapestry… it is hugeeeeee.

FairyLoot had been hinting for a while that there was going to be a wall tapestry appearing in a box, and I think that this month was the perfect time to include it! This one features an iconic scene from the film and it’s incredibly detailed. I have seen people saying they’re going to use it as a blanket which is such a great idea and I plan on doing that too as I don’t have any wall space left!

Trinket Dish by Drop and Give Me Nerdy

I was so happy when I saw this item in the box – and it’s quickly become one of my favourites. I was actually planning on getting a trinket dish to hold some of my earrings, so it was perfect timing when this one arrived.

Tea with Mrs Potts Roll-On Perfume by Little Heart Gifts

I think this may be the first time FairyLoot have included a perfume in their box (I’m not too sure though!) Sometimes, perfumes can be hit or miss because not everyone likes the same smells, but to me, this one smells amazing. It’s scented with tea and vanilla – perfect for Mrs. Potts.

Rose Enamel Pin by IceyDesigns

Whenever I think of Beauty and the Beast, I always think of roses, like so many other people, so I wasn’t surprised to see an item with a rose on it! This badge is probably one of the most beautiful ones that I own.

Tumbler by Taratjah and KDP Letters

This is another item that is extremely useful and one that I’ll be using a lot. As well as featuring a rose on it, this cup also has the quote ‘Tale as Old as Time’.

Belle Print by amaretta_

One of the final items in the box was this art print of Belle which is stunning!

Tarot Cards

I believe that these are the last of the ACOTAR tarot cards, and that next months box will feature a new fandom. These two are Rhysand and Morrigan and complete the collection.

A CurseSo Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer

Fall in love, break the curse.

It once seemed so easy to Prince Rhen, the heir to Emberfall. Cursed by a powerful enchantress to repeat the autumn of his eighteenth year over and over, he knew he could be saved if a girl fell for him. But that was before he learned that at the end of each autumn, he would turn into a vicious beast hell-bent on destruction. That was before he destroyed his castle, his family, and every last shred of hope.

Nothing has ever been easy for Harper Lacy. With her father long gone, her mother dying, and her brother barely holding their family together while constantly underestimating her because of her cerebral palsy, she learned to be tough enough to survive. But when she tries to save someone else on the streets of Washington, DC, she’s instead somehow sucked into Rhen’s cursed world.

Break the curse, save the kingdom.

A prince? A monster? A curse? Harper doesn’t know where she is or what to believe. But as she spends time with Rhen in this enchanted land, she begins to understand what’s at stake. And as Rhen realizes Harper is not just another girl to charm, his hope comes flooding back. But powerful forces are standing against Emberfall . . . and it will take more than a broken curse to save Harper, Rhen, and his people from utter ruin.

Have you read A Curse So Dark and Lonely yet?

  1. Oh this looks so pretty! I’m the same, I much more prefer The Little Mermaid to Beauty and the Beast (never understood the hype) but I would probably still enjoy the items that came in the box. The tarot cards are sooo beautiful ❤ I also need to read that book!
    Thanks for sharing, Rose 🙂
