Top 5 Tuesday: Books That Are *Slightly* Over 300 Pages

Happy Tuesday!

So I failed again with this week’s Top 5 Tuesday as four out of five books are over 300 pages. I thought I’d read way more books that were under 300 pages, but I guess not!

Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Shanah over at Bionic Book Worm. Each week there’s a new bookish topic for us to discuss. If you’re interested in participating, or checking out Shanah’s blog, click here!

Royals by Rachel Hawkins

Royals

At 296 pages, this is the only book on my list that is under 300 pages. This was such a fun contemporary read that was super cute. It’s set in Scotland and features royalty – what more could you want in a book?

PS I Like You by Kasie West

ps

This one is just over the 300 limit as it’s 336 pages. This was another really cute contemporary. It centres around these two characters writing notes to each other in class but they don’t know who the other person is. It’s a really quick read as well.

A Danger to Herself and Others by Alyssa B. Sheinmel

a danger to herself

Technically this one is 341 pages, but to me, it felt a lot shorter. I whizzed through the first half because I desperately wanted to find out what happened – the title is incredible as well because you want to know why! This is a mental health/mystery novel that has an unreliable narrator and it’s incredible.

The Exact Opposite of Okay by Laura Steven

The Exact Opposite of Okay

I talk about this book a lot so I’m not surprised that I’ve managed to sneak it onto another Top 5 Tuesday list. This one is 352 pages so it’s still quite short in comparison to other books. It’s so relevant to today’s society and the humour is on point.

Love & Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch

Love & Gelato

This is the same length as the last book, with 352 pages set in beautiful Italy. It introduced me to even more places that I want to visit and has a really sweet romance and also a little mystery to it as well.

What books made your list?

  3. I’m lucky that it seems the majority of the paranormal romances that I read are less than 300 pages 😉 Love the covers of the books you’ve listed.
